Undertale is a role-playing video game developed and published by indie developer tobyfox and released for Microsoft Windows and OS X on September 15, 2015. The game logo features a pixelated font which is very similar to Monster Friend designed by Harry Wakamatsu from Japan. Monster Friend is available in two variants: Monster Friend Fore and Trial. Designed to give you the opportunity to learn about game design and GameMaker. This 30-day trial licence gives you access to all of GameMaker Studio 2's features, and you can use it to build your first game following our tutorials. Underbattle is a game engine made in Game Maker 8.1 (and Game Maker: Studio) based off Toby Fox's Undertale! The engine was built from the ground up with original code except for the textbox, which was modified. Features: Much more well-documented than other Undertale GM engines. Which is a shame because there's much more interesting PC games out there.

To me, Undertale is nothing more than another Earthbound inspired game, which at the time were showing up everywhere, such as the often ignored Citizens of Earth. And Undertale will remember your decisions even if you start it all over. That gives the game a tremendous replay value.

War and peace

The battle system of Undertale is highly dynamic since the combat runs in real time. You have to time your moves to win. Various weapons either found or bought along the way can be used to increase your damage. When the enemy attacks, you still have a pretty good chance to dodge. Special items like candies will help you recover your health, but you can also give them to the opponent as a peace offering. Finally, you can always spare your enemy's life or run away if you feel like you are about to lose. However, fighting isn't necessary.
