Live Interior 3d Tutorial

Stairs are a special object type in Live Interior 3D. Unlike other objects, they create an opening in the slab above. To activate this property, an object should have the Stairs type in the Type & Representation dialog. Look at the picture below. There are two copies of the same staircase object. House design visualization is automatically built once you switch from 2D to 3D view. Add and arrange furniture, paint walls and apply the materials, adjust the lighting, and walk the interior in a realistic, beautiful, real-time 3D environment. Changes can be applied in easy drag-and-drop workflow.

Using Your Own 3D Models and Textures

You can also use your own objects and textures. Below you can find some web resources for 3D objects (3DS, SKP and Ogre XML formats supported) and textures, that can be used in Live Home 3D. Please note that we cannot guarantee that all 3D models and textures can be properly imported and used in Live Home 3D software. Check the model and texture copyrights on each particular website.
